Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh is a Non Govt. Organization incepted to operate and control the philanthropic activities of Hamdard. It is registered with Social Service Department, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
Aims and objectives of Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh:

To assist the people in medicine treatment, provide medical assistance and hospitalize them, to eradicate the illness and malnutrition and to assist the people with disabilities. To provide all sorts of services and assistance to address the natural disasters and calamities; |

To explore, encourage, develop and implement the scientific technology and medical projects for the welfare of the people and to assist the helpless, distressed people to eliminate their poverty as well as to execute multi-sectoral service-oriented project. |

To preserve, develop and provide the indigenous medical treatment specially Unani facilities and to apply those for the public welfare ; |

To adopt appropriate action accomplish those for public welfare ; |

To contribute and donate the individuals or institution or organizations engaged in social development, charitable service and welfare for the distresed. |

To introduce scholarship and fellowship for medical research.

Activities :
At recent Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh is operating " Hamdard Unani Medical College and Hospital " at Bogra in Bangladesh. The Foundation is also contribution in student Scholarship in every Unani Medical Colleges of the Country. Beside this the Foundation is involved with different mosques, madrasas, charitable institutions, schools, colleges, orphanages, income generating institutions, distressed individuals, unemployed people as well as disaster mitigation through grant making. Besides this the foundation contrbute in unemployment problem solution, donating rickshaws and rickshaw vans to the energetic unemployed, arranging marriage ceremony for the adult unmarried women as well as provide the bridegrooms in employment. The foundation is |
providing free treatment facilities for the poor and destitute people, contributing different infrastructural facilities for a number of educational and religious institution donating sewing machines to the distressed women for their living, contribute in to overcome the natural calamities. The Foundation also involves in publication and organization seminars, symposiums, conferences to disclose and publicise of the Hamdard activities.
Hamdard has acquired 300 acre land in Chittagong for cultivation, conservation and propagation of rare and valuable medicinal plants, which will save million dollars of foreign currencies used in importing raw materials. On the other hand substantial amount of foreign currency may be earn by exporting.

Hamdardard Foundation Bangladesh organises "Hamdard Evening", a discussion session, every month in which the distinguished personalities of their respective fields participate. The Foundation also provide a free clinic facilities in the "Bishya Iztema" to serve thousands of pious people every year. The Hamdard "City of Science" comprising of Hamdard School, College, Medical College, University along with research centres is under consideration with the supervision of Hamdard Foundation.

Hamdard Foundation Bangladesh is planning to introduce scholarship for the poor and meritorious students of the Hamdard family, general scholarship for different educational institutions, mobile clinic facilities for the poor, to assist in mass education programs. The Foundation is also to establish and contribute in development of different schools, colleges, mosques, madrasa's, to introduce gold medal for the first of the last year of Allopathic, Unani, Ayurbedic, Homeopathic students. |
